  1. Looks great! Amy, I need your email address because I would like to ask you a few questions.... How in the world will I ever narrow it down to ONE BOOK????

  2. Catherine, is there anyway we could list everyone's e-mail so we can contact them? In your "free" time of course. I'm excited!

  3. i can totally give everyone their partners email address. i think that i will just send them instead of posting because this blog isn't private.
also...feel free to ask questions here on the blog in your comments. sometimes that is easier!

  5. Emily... what kind of books do you like? What have you read recently? Favorite treats???

  6. Sarah, I love all genres of books. As for treats, I am kind of greedy...I like everything (but anything with peanut butter and chocolate I hide so I don't have to share)!!
How about you? What books do you love and what treats do you hoard from your husband and kids?
Will you list me the last 5 five books you read so I can get an idea of what you like?

  7. Last five books... The Help, The Hunger Games, Catching Fire, Handle With Care, The Short Second Life of Bree Tanner (embarassing, I know!) My Sisters Keeper(I'm kind of over Jodi Picoult books, though- way too much swearing). Okay, I guess that was six! How about you? What books have you read recently?

As far as treats go, anything with chocolate is always good. No nuts, coconut, raisins or marshmallows. Love caramel, peanut butter and mint with my chocolate, but not all together!

    Hope this helps!!!

  8. Hi Jeanne,
I love the last 5 books idea, so I know what you like. My last 5 were: The Fixer Upper, The Color of Water, A Tree Grows in Brooklyn, The Help, The Other Boleyn Girl. Can't wait to hear!

Oh, do you have any allergies? I do not!

  9. Well, I would like to answer that the last 5 books I have read have been the Doctrine & Covenants, the Bible (or Holy Bible) as my kids like to call it, The New Testament, The Old Testament and the Book of Mormon......but that would be a lie.....Although I do read my scriptures, why is it that I am only able to find time read a chapter or two a day of my scriptures and yet somehow I manage to read (on a good day) hundreds of pages of some book. Oh, the folly of mortals!!
    These are the last books I have read;
fatally flaky - Diane Mott Davidson
    Uglies
    Pretties
    Extras
Specials - all by Scott Westerfield
The first nine 39 clue books - it's a kids series - I like to pre-read everything my kids.
    read.
If you have never read the Scott Westerfield series, I highly recommend it. I was enthralled. Plus I am a sucker for books were the protagonist is a strong woman or girl.

  10. haha! i am cracking up about your comment emily! it is SO true what you said. i love reading the scriptures but sadly it isn't the book that i carry in my purse to read at the doctors office, or the one that i stay up until 1:30 in the morning reading because i HAVE to see how it ends!
    LOVE your honesty!
