It made my week!!

I was so excited to open up my package from Jeanne!!!!
Inside was a perfect bracelet and hair things for Allegra, who did not want to take them off at all!!! She also loved the pinwheel that came as well.
The packaging was so cute, here is a part of it.
A close up of the beautiful hair things and bracelet.
Seriously!!! Love the dangling stars.
I could not get over how beautiful these earrings were, I love that I can where them anytime, not just on the 4th.
Now, I don't know how she knew that I LOVE wreaths, but anyway Jeanne definitely won my craft swap love with this beauty!!!!
Here is a close up.
Again ALLEGRA and I LOVED it all.

I WIN I WIN I WIN I WIN

One thing for sure...all of the Yeates boys thought the package ROCKED!!!
they are eating one of the bags of kettle corn that Sarah sent...one red white and blue, and the other was white chocolate cinnamon (strictly for me of course)
The matching, handmade ties BLEW me away! I just love how they look in them!
baking essentials. :)
This is the package freshly opened (yes, that IS a quilt, we will get to that later)
I laid everything out on the couch, with my kids ooh-ing and aah-ing the whole time. The loot is as follows, a quilt, three ties, a banner, a patriotic cd, cupcake liners, toppers and sprinkles, a set of magnets, two bags of specialty popcorn, a cute pail and all was wrapped in adorable packages, tins and bows.
THE QUILT IS INSANE!!! It has kind of a nautical theme to it, and every fabric choice is phenomenal. It is so perfectly sewn too. I can't believe it is her first quilt!
Even the card was "hand - shucked" (anyone watched "What about Bob")

The magnets, sorry i couldn't get a better picture. They are bottle cap ones and SO cute!
The banner completed my fireplace! I can't believe how perfectly it fits my decor there! I am thinking of taking our Christmas pictures with this set-up... christmas in july!!!
So my 10 year old, Nigel said to me "is this girl like your best friend?" I told him "SHE IS NOW!!!"
Thank you so much Sarah. Everything was perfect. I am so impressed and love it all so much. I am the hostess of the annual fourth of July parties (yes partIES), and you have made me look GOOD!

satoko is a woman after my own heart. she loves things vintage, and is an amazing artist, photographer, violinist and seamstress (to name a few things she rocks at).

she made these pillow, which i adore. the fabric is perfect, and the stitches are flawless.
the only problem is that i have to keep edith away from them because she insists on using them for her dolls! (but i can't fault her for her good taste!)
and did i mention that satoko loves tiny things? well. she does. and she made this united states map out of different papers and...wait for it.... cut ALL of the states out with an exacto knife.
what to love more....the east coast?
or alaska and hawaii?
i know. insanely awesome.
satoko. thank you. this is staying up all year 'round. i lOvE it.
My package from Catherine was personally delivered by her...i feel special.. and WOW ... everything in it is absolutely adorable beginning with the beautiful red white and blue basket and not to mention the beautiful tissue paper.... A-D-O-R-A-B-L-E!!!
And in this beautiful Basket were these amazing items...
ALL THE ITEMS INSIDE

aWSOME BLOCKS LOVED THEM...

I adore these vintage prints!! The magnetic clothespins are SO cute and a great idea...

brenda (my friend and zumba compatriot) swapped with me. and i got THIS!
it is an antique cross-stitch that she FRAMED and put the stars on the top. the pictures do NOT do it justice. the clouds are painted on the fabric and the cross- stitching is AMAZING.
look at the back of it! even the back looks good.
lets have one more look at it...

THANK YOU brenda. i adore it.

Crystal is: Unique. Sensational. Amazing!!

First off....I didn't get one package. I got TWO. The tube shaped package came first and was completely intriguing....what could possibly be in there? Then the next package came and had very specific directions. I love a good surprise!

And here is what was in my package. Can you believe how much stuff she sent? I only wish I was better at staging photos, so you could see the fabulosity. :)
People with sewing skills amaze me in general, but Crystal is extra amazing. I was so happy to find this table runner as I was completely jealous of the other bandana table runner. I happened to look at the back and just stared at how even the seams are gorgeous.
Then I unwrapped the flag swag/banner/bunting (not sure what to call it). Years of girl scout experience made me want to keep it from touching the ground as I unfolded it. It is the most beautiful thing!! I tried it on every railing inside and outside of my house. :)

sorry I didn't iron it first, I was too excited.

I didn't get a chance to take a picture of the marshmallow/hot dog roasting sticks (from the mysterious tube package). But they are super awesome. My husband wants to buy an outside firepit now.

I think Crystal must be a psychic or something. How else could she know how much I adore rice bags? I think they are the coolest thing ever invented, and every ache or pain in my house is treated with one. This pretty star one came just in time. I had to go to the dentist today. I have a dislocated jaw so simple precedures are pretty painful.
(don't I look miserable?)
Now, it may seem a small thing, but *thoughtfulness* is big in my book. So the fact that Crystal sent 5 roasters and 5 marshmallow guns pleased me to no end. She even sent ammo. :) PLUS....there are 3 red guns, and 2 blue so we can play kids vs. adults or girls vs. boys.

Action shot!!!

i (heart) my package!

my package from amy came yesterday and i was thrilled... i ripped it open and layed it all out. even the packaging was cute, love those paper wheels! i was over at my sister's house and made her take pictures.

i got not one, but two headbands! tried them on and posed.

c-u-t-e!

then i saw these beauties for my girlies-and thought about stealing that blue felt one for myself...... yep...... it's mine.

i was lovin' this rag tie wreath. you can't see in the picture, but the fabric was cut with pinking shears! love the colors. love the fabric. love amy.

then i saw these vintage print cupcake toppers/picks and did the facebook gangsta pose to show them off. i'm totally going to lie and say i made them myself when i take them to a july 4th party. just kidding....maybe.

then i saw this adorable pennant banner and completely ignored my crying baby while i took a picture of it. this picture does not do it justice.

then, i saw these pictures of me and thought that i should never ever post pictures of myself at the end of a long day without looking in the mirror first!

then, i decided that it wasn't about me, it was about amy's crafts and i was willing to sacrifice for craft's sake.

BUT, i'm feeling pretty patriotic right about now, and can't wait to put up all my new decorations.

i love it ALL! thank you amy...you rock!

Seriously, Rebecca!

My package from Rebecca arrived and WOW ... everything in it is beyond cute. I absolutely LOVE it ALL! She is so talented and has great taste.
I'm so excited about this fabric pennant banner! This is perfect. I have been wanting to make one, but have one big problem called: I don't sew. She did a great job. Here's a close-up:

I adore these vintage prints!! Even Rebecca's clothespins are cute. They have magnets on the back too. I'm going to display these pictures on a magnet board.
Cupcake toppers with matching liners. Can't wait to get baking! These are going to be so cute to take to a 4th of July BBQ!

"FREEDOM" spelled out in scrabble letters. What a fun and clever idea!

I LOVE this Liberty sign. The picture doesn't do it justice. It's such a pretty red color. The crackling effect she did looks so cool. I've got to learn how to do that.
Super cute red, white, and blue rosette headband. Don't mind my messy hair.
She even made one for my four-year-old daughter, which she will love. She is asleep, otherwise I'd post a picture of it on her noggin.
Happy 4th of July vinyl lettering. Can you believe how many fun items I got? Never ending!
Rebecca even decorated this box cute!
I can't wait to try these drink recipes and inside that fabric is sparkly red nail polish, which I definitely will be sporting soon.

Rebecca, I can't THANK YOU enough. I'm so in love with all the stuff you made. I can't even believe how cute everything is!!!
I mailed my package two days after the deadline. I'm terribly sorry, but we took a last-minute trip. It will arrive sometime this week.
